Smoothies are a great and fun way to not only get your 5 a day but also fill yourself up without having to do much! We’ve compiled 5 of our favourite smoothie recipes for you.

The best part about smoothies is that there isn’t complicated instruction to follow. Just cut up the ingredients and blend them all together!

Strawberry Vanilla Blast

  • 1 quart plain nonfat Greek yoghurt
  • 8 ounces unsweetened frozen strawberries or blueberries
  • 2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Fat Burner

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 stalks celery (chopped)
  • 1 cup brewed green tea (cooled)
  • 1 large grapefruit (peeled and seeded)
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 large avocado
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (optional)

A Quick Breakfast

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp porridge oats
  • 80g soft fruit (whatever you have – strawberries, blueberries, and mango all work well)
  • 150ml milk
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Vegan Delight

  • 100ml (¼ tall glass) cherry juice
  • 200ml (½ tall glass) unsweetened soya milk
  • 1 cherry soya yogurt
  • 3 tbsp or 50g firm silken tofu 75g frozen cherry
  • 2 tbsp porridge oat

Breakfast Fuel

  • 100ml milk
  • 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1 banana
  • 150g frozen fruits of the forest
  • 50g blueberries
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 tsp mixed seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
