When did you first start gaining weight?

I was never very thin but the weight really started piling on when I went to university and had complete control of the food and alcohol I ate. Over the years I gained 6 stone.

What made you want to change?

I didn’t realise that my eating habits were so bad and it wasn’t until I saw a photo of myself after graduating that I had realised how out of control my weight was. One day I looked in the mirror and decided I wasn’t happy and needed a change.

What happened when you joined Skinny Revolution?

I started Skinny Revolution and the weight began to drop off me. My mood started improving and I gained confidence.

I started using the exercise videos on the members area to build up my fitness levels and the weekly calls kept me in check. 

What’s the difference between you now compared to before?

I can’t believe the difference between how I am now compared to back then. I’m a completely different person! I know I can achieve anything because of the journey I’ve already been on and everyone can feel that way.

I used to hate the way I looked and although I’m not perfect I love my scars and stretch marks because it proves to me that I can fight…and win.

What advice would you give someone who wants to lose weight?

Don’t sit there feeling sorry for yourself. You can be whoever you want to be it just takes perseverance which Skinny Revolution helped with massively.

Think of all the time you’ve wasted in the past trying different diets and failing. Think of where you will be if you just stuck to it.
