On your weight loss journey, finding body confidence can be a big issue. You’re on your way to transforming your body into dream body but it’s not unusual to have bumps in the road along the way.

Skinny Revolution shares our tips on how to find the confidence to love your body!

Stop comparing yourself.

Each body is different. Your body is unique so it does no good to it to keep comparing to anyone else. Instead, focus on yourself. Focus on your own personal and, most importantly, realistic goals.

Manage your time.

Every person is on their own journey to shaping their dream body but not every person has the same circumstances. Some people have more time to put in to go to the gym and put in the hours exercising. It can be disheartening when you’re stuck at work all day and don’t have the energy at the end of the day to be active.

Instead of scrolling Instagram feeling guilty, organise yourself. Find a way to be active in the timeframe you have. Walk when you can or do home exercises. But don’t feel guilty if there’s just not enough time in the day. We can’t all keep the exercise routines of celebrities but the most important thing is that we try to find out what works for us.

Reward yourself.

When you’re having an off day and you fall off the wagon. Whether it’s eating unhealthy or failing to keep up your excessive routine, don’t punish yourself! Don’t feel guilty, we are only human. We are allowed to make mistakes.

Instead, what we should do is reward ourselves when we do well. How you reward yourself is completely up to you and what makes you happy. Maybe a shopping trip is in order or perhaps a lazy afternoon watching your favourite program. Find what works for you and what inspires you to keep going!

Health body, healthy mind.

One of the most important things about the journey to feeling good in your own body is to eat healthy! Eating healthy not only help when loosing weight but it makes you feel better not just physically but mentally.

We know not everyone is a 5 star chef or has the time to make a fancy meal each night but just starting off small and building your way up with subtle changes can really improve your body health. Substitute your snacks with a healthy alternative, or maybe try a few nights a week where you make a nice meal. Every thing helps.
