So we had a great chat & sit down with Ampika Pickston, founder of Skinny Revolution.

Read on to find out what Ampika does to stay on track, weight loss tips, being a size 20 and her ultimate cravings!

 

How has Skinny Revolution changed your life?

Skinny Revolution is a manageable and easy plan to follow. It takes a lot of the pressure and difficulty off losing weight and I’m honestly thrilled with the results I’ve received. When I found out about this wonder pen, I had to shout it from the roof tops!

When you have off days, how do you stay on track when you feel unmotivated?

Honestly, I get my arse to the gym to restore and release those endorphins. I never regret moving my body. I absolutely love listening to our podcasts for motivation.

Other than Skinny Revolution, what else do you do to stay positive?

Meditation, where I work on my mind. When I meditate I have more control over my mind to maintain focus and stay motivated. You have to look after your mind, I always say healthy mind means healthy body. You must remember to always believe in yourself.

With multiple businesses and a stressful life, how do you wind down?

Being at one with nature, being outside in the open air, walking my dogs and investing my time in my family and being surrounded by positive,supportive people.

Having been 17 stone and a size 20, how did you get to where you are now. You’ve made an amazing transformation!

I realised consistency was the key. Losing weight is not an overnight journey. Having been seventeen stone, I really can relate with a lot of people out there who are struggling physically and mentally with their weight, I really understand how that feels. So I learnt to discipline myself to stay on track,

What are your goals as CEO of Skinny Revolution? 

My goals are to help people throughout the United Kingdom to help them to lose weight and feel better in themselves, and then help the rest of the world. We are really trying to create a supportive, informative platform to help everyone.

If you’re in a rush,what is your go to meal?

In the mornings i’m usually getting Jake to school, so ill make an Omelette with chilli, peppers and a sprinkle of feta cheese or I usually have my Soul Mate Foods meal prep package. I’m obsessed with the Burn Plan, my favourite is the Chicken & Chorizo Pasta with Goats Cheese. It’s healthy and quick!!

So Ampika, what are your ultimate food weakness, what can’t you resist?!

I love mash potato with truffle oil, digestive biscuits and cheese and onion crisps.

Finally, what is your advice to people who want to start Skinny Revolution? 

The more you think about it the more time goes by, if you’re thinking about a change and you want to make a change, don’t delay time, there is no time like the present. Start now!
